Jen McFarland

Jen Riehle McFarland is the Web Services Coordinator and team lead for NC State’s OIT Design group. She has worked for the university for over 10 years, starting in the Help Desk, moving into web design/dev and eventually, the agony of management. She’s a WordPress fangirl, a serious beer enthusiast, an adequate technical communicator, and a proud geek chick.

Michael Torbert

As the developer of All in One SEO Pack, one of the most downloaded WordPress plugins, Michael loves his work as much as driving his Audi. With his free time, he tries to fulfill his childhood dream: travel the world and taste good food. Fall is Michael’s favorite season because college football is on and he’s a Hokie. Oh yeah, he studied Computer Science at NC State University, and wore Hokie gear the entire time!

Ben Meredith

Ben is the Senior Support Technician at WordImpress, the makers of GiveWP. He’s also developed several plugins for WordPress, most notably Better Click To Tweet.

When not tinkering with code, you’ll likely find him playing guitar, riding bikes around Cary with his family, or playing disc golf.

Lisa Linn Allen

Lisa Linn Allen is a Principal IT Software Developer and Team Lead for the intranet
team at SAS in Cary. She’s been working on the SAS intranet since the days of
NCSA Mosaic. For the last few years, her team has been working on moving large
parts of this intranet into a governed, custom-built WordPress site.

Lisa lives in Cary and enjoys sewing, swimming, and cheering on her husband and son
at Taekwondo tournaments.
